Welcome!

The most profound change happens not through technique alone, but through the quality of what occurs between two people in a room. With 17 years of experience, I specialize in long-term, depth-oriented psychotherapy for individuals seeking more than symptom relief- people who want to understand themselves at a fundamental level. My therapeutic approach is deeply relational and introspective, focusing on helping people explore how their past and current experiences-particularly in relationships, sexuality, and cultural identity-shape their sense of self.

I work with individuals across the lifespan, including adolescents, adults, and older adults. I am particularly attuned to issues related to self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, intrusive thoughts, and life transitions. For people who are interested in exploring their personal spirituality, I am here to help and support their exploration. My practice is inclusive and affirming, with a strong commitment to supporting those navigating complex identity dynamics. I offer a safe and nurturing environment to help people explore, process and navigate their internal and relational world. While my work is primarily exploratory and depth-oriented, I am also able to offer concrete tools and strategies when the moment calls for it.

I hold a clinical degree in Mental Health Counseling and I am licensed in Massachusetts. I am a psychoanalytic candidate at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, where I have had the privilege of training and supervision with leading figures in the field of self psychology. Additionally, I am a published author in this area and believe in the expansion of psychoanalytic literature.

Before entering private practice, I worked with people struggling with addiction in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I also spent the early years of my career working in community mental health clinics, where I developed a strong commitment to accessible, high-quality mental health care. Prior to relocating to Boston, I worked in the Department of Psychiatry at The University of Rochester, conducting research on a teen suicide prevention program implemented in high schools throughout New York State.
